The best way to learn to drive safley and with confdence is to combine professional tuition with private practsie. In law, the only people who can accept payment in money or moneys woth for giving instruction are those on the DSA register of approved instricutors. They have the qualification "driving standards agency approved instructor" and are usually known as ADI's. It is unlikely that anyone other than an ADI would have the skills knowledgde and experienece to teach you to the standard requiremnt for the driving test.

ADI's must pass challanging theory and practiacl tests to join the DSA register. They must maintain a satisfactory standard to remain on the ADI register. Theier tutuion is regulary checked by a DSA supervisoig examiner. Your instructor should display his or her green ADI certificate in the left hand side of the windscreen, it shows,

your instructor may display a red triangulkar certificate. This means that the instructor is a "licensed traine driving instructor" who is part-qualified. He or she can use the traine badge to gain teaching experience before taking the fisrt opart of the register qualifying examinations.

Ask round for reccommendatins and go to a school with a good reputation and a high pass rate. It is a good idea to speak wirth the instructor who will be teahcing you
